The Blazing 7s side bet is optional and can only be bet on at this point in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The House will then deal 2 cards to each player and two to himself. The House&#8217;s cards will be dealt with one card face up, and the other face down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The total of any hand is the sum of the card values in the hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Player must decide whether to stand, hit, double down, or split.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Player can select Double Down for a hand after a Split has been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a hand of two Aces is split, a card will be automatically drawn for each pile and no further actions will be allowed for these hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/ontario.casinotime.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/B7B-desktop-ss-2-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10021\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ontario.casinotime.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/B7B-desktop-ss-2-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/ontario.casinotime.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/B7B-desktop-ss-2-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/ontario.casinotime.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/B7B-desktop-ss-2-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/ontario.casinotime.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/B7B-desktop-ss-2-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/ontario.casinotime.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/B7B-desktop-ss-2.png 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hand may only be split once. It is not possible to split a hand that has already been split.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>House must hit soft 17.<\/strong> A soft 17 is a hand valued at 17 that includes at least one Ace\u00a0<br>The Player will win when their hand totals higher than or equal to the house\u2019s hand (without going bust), or they have 21 or less when the house busts (exceeds a total hand of 21).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hand may only be split if the initial two cards are of the same rank (a pair). An equal bet will be placed on the newly created hand, and an additional card will be dealt to both hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doubling down will double the Player\u2019s bet in exchange for one extra card. The Player must then stand once this card is received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hand may only be surrendered as the first action on the hand. This discards the hand. Half of the stake for this hand is returned to the player at the end of the game. Even if the hand is over 21, the Blazing 7s side bet will still pay out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Card values in Blackjack<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Blackjack, the card values are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ace &#8211; can be counted as 1 or 11&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2-10 &#8211; are counted as their respective number&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>J, Q, K &#8211; are counted as 10.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suits are irrelevant in blackjack, but are counted in the Blazing 7s side
