Always 9 Baccarat builds on the success of Always 8 Baccarat, introducing a powerful new advantage for the Banker — a guaranteed starting score of 9. This striking variation invites you to approach traditional gameplay from a new angle, uncover patterns, and refine your strategy.
Just like in classic Baccarat, your goal remains the same: predict whether the Player’s or Banker’s hand will end up closest to 9, or bet on a Tie if you think both hands will match.
‘Banker Pair’ and ‘Player Pair’ side bets are available for those looking to boost their potential winnings.
Set in a sleek and modern studio, Always 9 Baccarat brings bold energy and new strategic depth to our acclaimed Baccarat portfolio.
KEY BENEFITS
- The Banker’s initial card is always a ‘9’
- Increased base payout for the Player’s side
- Classic Baccarat with a strategic edge
HOW TO PLAY
The game is played with eight standard 52-card decks that are shuffled by a continuous shuffle machine, and only the numeric values of each card are relevant.
The card values are as follows:
- Aces are worth 1 point each
- Cards from 2 to 9 are worth their numerical values
- 10s and face cards (Jack, Queen and King) are each worth 0.

THE BETTING PHASE
Before each deal, players can bet on whether the Player’s or Banker’s hand will win by having the hand closest or equal to 9.
You can also wager on a Tie, which occurs when both the Player and Banker hold hands of equal value.

THE DEAL
In Always 9 Baccarat, the Banker’s first card is always pre-determined and is already present on the table when the round starts.
After the betting time is over, the dealer deals two cards to the Player and one card to the Banker.
THE RESULT
Each hand’s value is calculated by dropping the tens digit in a hand otherwise worth 10 or more. Similarly, a face card plus a 9 will be worth 9.
If the Player or the Banker receives an initial two-card hand worth 8 or 9, no additional cards will be dealt to either hand. A third card might be drawn for Player, Banker or both sides, adhering to standard Baccarat rules.
